Shriya’s sun sign happens to be Virgo as her birthday is on 11th September . She was born in the year 1982 in Haridwar which is in India. She is about 5ft5” in height and has a lean body . She is about 45 kgs and maintains that body since many years . her full name is Shriya Saran.

Personnel life of Shriya Saran

Shriya Saran was born to couple named Mr Pushpender and Mrs Neeraja Saran . She has a brother named Abhiroop who is elder to her and who is married. So Shriya’s Sister in law’s name is Arthi. Shriya’s both the parents were a working couple . her mother was a chemistry lecturer in Delhi Public School of Haridhwar . later she was relocated to branch of DPS in Mathura road which is Delhi . Shriya was born in the city of Ranipur and pursued her school education in the Delhi Public School of Mathura road which is in Delhi. She pursued her Bachelor of arts in Lady Sriram College which is also located in Delhi . Shriya is also an established Khatak dancer took her lessons in this sacred dance from the famous Khatak dancer named “Shobha Narayan”.

Shriya Saran’s hobbies .

In her free time Shriya is interested in swimming and reading books . her favourite food is Roti and Paneer. She is also fond of ice -creams. She likes to wear Sarees and is comfortable in jeans and T- shirts also . She loves the acting of Rajnikanth and Amitabh Bachan .

Shriya as a Philanthropist

Shriya is well known for her charity . She is always a secret donator to whatever charity organization which approaches her . Shriya is a brand ambasdor for the “Naandi” foundation and is also an ambasdor for the “Saach” foundation which works for the benefit of poor children and also for the people who are effected by the natural calamities She also helps financially for an “Prevention of Aids” foundation.

Shriya telugu film career

Shreya with her Charming beauty and Sexy figure made her debut in the “Ishtam” which was produced by Ramoji rao in the year .charan was the hero in this movie and this was his debt movie too. This film was directed by Vikram and raj kumar . this was an average run movie . Bollywood Actress Poonam Dhillon also acted in this film. This films music was a hit . shreya performed the role of a college going girl character named Neha in this movie and played the role perfectly she falls in love with the hero and later on without her ignorance she also be–friends hero’s mother which is played by Poonam Dhillon .this film was released in the year 2001.

In the year 2002 she was lucky to act opposite to hero Balakrishna . She played the character named Preethi in this film .this was a faction film and was directed by the director VV. Vinayak . This was also an average film & Shreya danced well in this film .

In the same year she acted opposite to Nagarjuna in the film Santhosham . she played the character called Bhanu in this film . Her performance was very good in this film . this was a block buster movie as it collected record collections. This film was a family entertainer and also a musical hit. This film was later dubbed into tamil by the tittle “Santhosha Vanille”.

In the year 2002 she also acted in the film tittled “ Nee Manasu Naku Telusu” . This was also an hit film and hero Tarun acted opposite to her in this film .trisha was another heroine .this films was directed by Jyothi Krishnan. Shreya played the character of Reshma in this film who is the best friend to the hero and also helps the hero in finding his beloved. This film was a super hit specially for the song “OREY…..Askava”.

Then Shreya’s career took a turn . She was been casted opposite to big hero’s like Chiranjeevi in the film “Tagore “ . This was a super hit film according to the box office collections and was a musical hit too . Shreya danced well in this film as she played the character of Devika in this film who loves the person named Tagore . This was also a film with a social message of eradicating corruption.this film was also directed by VV. Vinayak.

Then in the same year sexy shreya did a telugu film tittled “Ela Chepanu”. She played the character of Priya and Tarun was the hero in this film . This films concept was taken from a Hindi film.This was a musical film which was directed by the director Ramana.

Then in the same year 2002 her another film with hero Uday kiran released with the title “Neeku Nenu Naku Nuvvu”. She played the character of Mahalakshmi ,daughter of the actor Suman. Senior artist Mr. Krishnam raju also played an important character in this film . Everyone applauded shreya for her acting and dancing talents .this film was directed by Amma Rajshaker .

Then in the year 2003 Shreya started her career with a hit . it was with the film “Nuvve Nuvve”. Hero Tarun played as the hero opposite her in this film. She played the character of and innocent girl in this movie named Anjali. She was apt for this character as her facial features and her expressions suited this films character .this was a musical hit and her dances along with the hero were a classic .this film was directed by trivikram Sreenivas.

In the year 2003 around july her next film “Balu” released . Pawan Kalyan was the hero in this film and Karunakaran was the director of this film . She acted well in this film . Her character’s name was “Anu”. This film was an average film according to the box office collections.

Then in the year 2003 Shreya’s next film with Hero Nagarjuna released . This film was tittled as “Nennunnanu”. This film was a hit and also its music was also tremendous hit . she played the character named Anu in this film.in this film she plays the character og a singer . V.N Aditya directed this movie . this film was dubbed into tamil by the tittle “Miss Chandramathi”.

The the year 2004 started her career with the film “Arjun” opposite to Mahesh Babu..this film was directed by Gunashekhar . Shreya played the character of roopa in this film . This film was a hit and was dubbed in tamil with the tittle “Varenda Madhuraku”.

Then in the same year she acted in a guest appearance role in the film “Soggaddu” which was directed by Ravibabu . Tarun was the hero in this film .this was anyway a big flop.

Then in the year 2004 in the month of May, she acted in the film “Bhageeratha” opposite to hero Raviteja . This film was also a flop. This film was directed by Rasool.She played the character of Swetha in this film .

Then the film “Chatrapathi” was released . The Director Rajamouli directed it and Prbhas was the hero in this film . Shreya played the character of Neelu who works in the govt office in thei movie . This was an action packed movie and was a super hit .she danced well to the songs in this movie .

Then in the same year 2004 the film Tittle “Mogadu Pellam Oka Dongodu “ was released. This film was directed by Venky. This was a Unique film as it had only 3 characters in its story and also the screenplay was also Sketched with only 3 characters. But this movie was not received well by the audience and hence it was a flop. Shreya played the character of satyabhama in this film .

Then to her credit she was offered the role of Swarajyam in the film Subhash Chandra Bose opposite to hero Venkatesh. This film released in October 2004 and this film was directed K.Raghavendra Rao.. This was a big flop movie at the box office.

Then in the same year i.e 2004 the films “Naa Alludu” and “Sada Meesevelo” were released . Hero Venu was the hero in the later and Junior NTr was the hero in the first film .these films did not work well but Shreya’s acting was well appreciated .

Then the year 2005 started for Shreya with the film “Bommalata” opposite to Saikumar . This films character was small . So not much was featured on her .and this was a Message oriented film .Shreya won the best actress award for guest appearnce for this film .

It can be said that as shreya was busy in tamil moivie industry she could not do any full fledged roles in Telugu. So she limited her spell to cameo roles only .

In the year 2006 she was casted for a cameo role in the film “Game” and “Devadasu” which she justified it with her 100 % acting skills .

Then in the year 2007 ,she acted in a guest appearnce roles in the films “Munna” opposite to Prabhas and in “Tulasi” opposite to Venkatesh

Shriya Saran’s tamil film career .

Shreya made her tamil film debut in the film Ennakku 20 Unnaku 18. this was a telugu dubbed film and hero tarun acted opposite her .this was a hit. Jyothi Krishna directed this film.she played the chracter of Reshma

In the year 2005, she played the role of sShailaja in the movie tittled “Mazahai” . she acted opposite to hero Jayam Ravi in this film . Rajkumar directed this film .

Then in the year 2006 her next film was Thiruvalaindal arambham which was opposite to hero Dhanush . Bhoopathy directed this film .

Then in the year her charming beauty and her curvaceous figure came into the Eyes of the Director Shanker . she was casted opposite to tamil super star Rajnikanth in the film “Shivaji : The Boss”. This was a super hit film and collected 160 crores according to the box office collections throught the world.shreya played the character of ‘Tamilselvi” in this film. This film was released in the year 2007.

In the month of November on 9th of the year 2007 released her naxt film tittled “Azahagiya Tamil Magan” . Vijay was casted opposite her . it is an average film and is directed by bharathan. She played the character of Abhinaya in this film .

Her coming projects in tamil in the year 2008 are

“Indiralohatil Naa Azghapan”.this film has Vadevelu as the hero and shreya is acting a cameo role in this film.

“Kanthaswamy” with Vikram and “Akbar” with Ajith Kumar are the next films of her which will be released in the year 2008. “Kanthaswamy” is dubbed into telugu with the tittle “Mallanna”

Shreya’s hindi movie career .

Shreya sharan made her hindi debut with the film Tujhe mere kasam with the hero Ritesh Deshmukh in the year 2003. this film was directed by the telugu director Vijay bhasker of “Nuvvu Naku Nachavu” fame this was a flop film .

Then in the year 2004 she acted in the film “Thoda Tum badlo Todha Hum badle “. which was opposite to Arya Babbar.this film was directed by Esmail.this film was also big flop.

Then in the same year 2004 , she acted in the film “Shukriya: Till death do us Apart” opposite to Aftab Shivdasani . This was an average film . Anupam Sinha was the director of this film .

Then in the year 2007 Shreya was starred in the film “Awarapan” opposite to Emraan Hasmi. This film was a musical hit. It was also well received by the Pakistani audience also.

“Ek -The power of one” with Bobby Deol and “Mission Istanbul” which has Vivek Oberoi as the hero

Shreya’s upcoming film in English is “The other end of line” which is opposite to “Jesse “Metcaffe”. It is said to be releasing in the year 2008 .
