 Aishwarya Rai:That politico Amar Singh and superstar Amitabh Bachchan are friends, actually brothers to quote them, is common knowledge.
The two are familiar faces at any high profile society shindig or film affair. Now Amitabh’s homes, Prateeksha and Jalsa, in Juhu, Mumbai are famous landmarks. But guess what Amar Singh’s home in Lucknow is called? None other than Aishwarya! Yes, it’s named Aishwarya. And neither of his twin daughters are called Aishwarya. Now if the home is indeed named after the light-eyed Bachchan bahu, then it is only Amar Singh’s profound love for the Bachchan family flowing forth. The much disputed land owned by Big B in Daulatpur village in the district of Barabanki, where he plans to build a girls school, is also called Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Girls’ Intermediate College. Ash is the "it" name as far as the Bachchan family and also the extended family (Amar Singh) are concerned.
