 Lara Dutta :After Kareena Kapoor’s experimentation with her size zero body, being fit is the new mantra in Bollywood.
Everyone is hitting the gyms to an unusual extent now. The new entrant into the fit celebrity pack is our sexy Lara Dutta, whose new look is the talk of the town.Lara has lost oodles of weight only because she was required to get into a bikini and do some underwater action scenes for her next film Blue. Lara reveals, “I have been slogging it out, working hard to look good. I can never be waif thin but definitely have a fit and lean figure, which I have achieved all thanks to the strenuous training that I have been going through preparing for the movie.” Lara, who stars opposite action hero Akshay Kumar in this film, plays an underwater diver. Not knowing how to swim, Lara says she is busy training herself in water sports. “I never got such roles before either. When I was offered Blue, I was a little skeptical since I couldn’t swim but if I didn’t learn now, then when? I swim like a fish today, and I’m an expert in diving,” she informs. Post Partner, Lara is excited that the audience has accepted her in comic roles. “I am looking forward to more comic roles. I just shot for Banda Bindas Hai, which is inspired by the Hollywood flick My Cousin Vinny,” Lara says.
