Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor will have a never before on screen look for Salman’s home production Mr and Mrs Khanna. Designers Manish Malhotra and Alvira Agnihotri (Salman’s sister) along with Ashley Rebello are currently working on the costumes They want to present both Salman and Bebo in a new look for the film.
Sources reveal that the designers left for Milan in Italy, to shop for the costumes for the film. Milan is said to be the most expensive city as far as designer wear is concerned. When contacted, Manish Malhotra, who is currently in Milan, said, "Milan is the first centre where fashion begins, unlike London and New York. I am planning to ensure that Bebo makes a style statement in the film and am shopping for her clothes. She will be sporting different brands — right from Versace, Cavalli, Armani, to Beri Beri. Since Bebo has lost a lot of weight she can definitely carry herself beautifully." Alvira on the other hand did not disclose much about what she was planning for Salman in the film. "Ashley is also one of the designers. He can explain better," said Alvira when we tried talking to her. Debutante Prem Soni who is directing the Sallu-Kareena starrer says, "The film is in the scripting stages. I can’t disclose much but the film will go on floors very soon. We are planning to shoot the film in a start-to-finish schedule in Melbourne. Sohail Khan has also tied up with UTV Motion Pictures, who are going to be the film’s co-producers.
