Bollywood News:Ken Ghosh, who directed Shahid Kapoor’s Ishq Vishq Pyar Vyar is back after a long hiatus with UTV’s next Star. Interestingly, the film will be a dance film and will see Shahid in his best form. Ken informs that since Shahid is a student of Shiamak Davar and a good dancer, he decided to have Shahid in the lead. Denying all the reports on the film Ken says, “The film is not based on the 1982 Kumar Gaurav starrer.
The working title of my film is Star hence people assumed that this film is based on the Kumar Gaurav starrer. The film went on floors last week.” The film is a story of a middle class youngster (Shahid) who goes on to become a music sensation. The problem arises when he experiences a misfortune and feels dejected Ultimately, he recovers and hits the track yet again. It was also reported that Jiah Khan had been signed opposite Shahid for the film but Ken has another version. “I don’t know who has spread this news but I have not yet signed the lead lady for the film. The film has been in the news for some time but I have approached Justin Timberlake’s choreographer Marty Kedulka and Britney Spears choreographer Brian Friedman to train Shahid for the dance steps but nothing has been finalised as we are working on it. Once we have worked out on the details, I will definitely let you know.
