Shama Sikander loves to wear revealing clothes |

Shama Sikander will soon be seen in Shashi Ranjan’s Dhoom Dhadaka. However this is not her first attempt at the box office. She was previously seen in movies like Mann starring Aamir Khan.
Shama became a popular face on television with Yeh Meri Life Hai. So why did she take up TV in the midst of her film career? "I liked the script of the show. It was pretty challenging for me to play a Gujarati girl. I had to get the accent right," she says. Shama, however did find it slightly difficult to get back into films again. "People have a perception that TV faces cannot do well in films. So I did face a few difficulties," she adds. Shama essays the role of a girl called Jiya in Dhoom Dhadaka. "I am playing a girl who is full of life. She may seem naïve from the outside but is extremely naughty from the inside," she elaborates. Shama’s wardrobe in the film is quite revealing. Does her family have any problem with her costumes in the film? "My family has always stood by me. Secondly, there is a thin line between wearing revealing clothes and looking vulgar. If I have the body, why can’t I wear revealing clothes?" she asks. She has a few projects in the pipeline and will also be doing a song in Ram Gopal Verma’s Contract.
