She made her Bollywood debut in Ram Gopal Varma’s disastrous Nishabd where she played Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter. However, Jiah Khan stole the thunder from right under her nose and Shraddha was barely noticed in the film. So what does she feel about that? "I wasn’t competing with Jiah anyway. I was happy with my role. I enjoyed playing Amitabh’s daughter. Probably, I should have worked on my looks as I wasn’t very happy with my look in the film," she says. Shraddha will now be seen in Milind Ukey's Paathshala.

"I play a student in the film and it’s a typical chick role - wearing short skirts and high ponytails. The film is not a typical potboiler. I had great fun shooting for the film," she explains. Must have been since she is rumoured to have a massive crush on one of the leads, actor Sunny Singh, who also makes his debut in the film. She apparently chases him and calls him ten times a day.

"This is tickling! I do not have any feelings for Sunny. In fact we were always arguing on the sets. I have barely spoken to him ten times after the film got over, let alone ten times a day," she laughs. Shraddha is quite brazen when it comes to skin show in films. "My parents are very supportive of my career. I will think about exposing when I am offered such films," says the actress. Shraddha has also worked in the South in Kadanda Rami Reddy's Godava and Tamilvannan's Kalvanin Kadhali. "I have done films down south, but I want to do more Hindi films now," she says.
