Sonam Kapoor :If Sonam Kapoor doesn’t hold grudges about being unceremoniously dumped, it could be possibly because she has gotten used to it.

sonam

Be it Ranbir Kapoor or filmmaker Aditya Chopra who wanted to cast her for his Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. Now Sonam may cry hoarse negating both the stories — that she was seeing Ranbir and that she was considered for the Yash Raj film — the fact remains that both the reports happen to be true. According to our source connected with the ace banner, Sonam had gone to the office for a meeting with Adi not very long ago. And all seemed well with her casting for the film initially.

But problems began when Adi, who wants everything to be just perfect with his third directorial venture, started demanding more time from Sonam, much before the film’s shooting commenced. He wanted his leading lady to be perfect in every respect and wanted her to undergo diction classes, some dance lessons and several grooming sessions. Now Sonam, who has already gone through the grind with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Saawariya and also with Rakeysh Mehra in Delhi 6, wasn’t willing to be treated like a complete fresher. Not that she could afford that kind of time after she was being held captive by Rakeysh Mehra as it is! So she was promptly replaced by a newcomer, who would be able to give the time and effort that Adi needs.
