 Jhansi Ki Rani :Sushmita Sen has been very hush-hush about her directorial debut, the historical Jhansi Ki Rani project.
While Sushmita is busy working on this debut behind closed doors, there has been news that she is taking the help of director Roby Grewal of Samay fame, with whom she delivered a critically-acclaimed performance. A source informs, “Sushmita is having many closed door meetings with Roby regarding her ambitious project. She knows that directing a mammoth project like Jhansi Ki Rani is no easy job and the actress is not very adept at the technical aspects. She had worked with Roby before and loved his style of working. Roby was an ad filmmaker in Delhi before making his Bollywood debut and is a very good technician, which is just what she wants.” Roby’s first film Samay — though well made and critically-acclaimed — was a box office failure and so was his second film, the breezy romantic comedy, Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar, which released last year
