 Vidya Balan : Vidya Balan, who has been criticised for her dowdy sense of dressing has taken the glam route in her next film, Kismat Konnection with Shahid Kapoor.
She recently shot a promotional song with Shahid and was trying hard to match up steps with him in a very peppy number choreographed by Ahmed Khan. Was it a challenge to groove to the song? “I think challenge is a very heavy word. But I think it’s nice to try something that is not in your comfort zone. This number is just that and I wouldn’t have done it with anyone else but Shahid and Ahmed, because when you experiment, it’s better to do it with people who can take care of you and you don’t end up looking foolish in the end,” says Vidya. It is a known fact that Shahid is a terrific dancer, and Vidya will be seen dancing with him for the first time. “Shahid is a fantastic dancer and I think however good I get, I probably won’t be able to match my steps with him but I’ll try. I don’t think there’s any problem because I actually have enjoyed myself. As I said it took me sometime to match my steps. Ahmed has been very patient with me and so was director Aziz Mirza,” says Vidya. The actress says that she is excited about the film. “I am working with Shahid for the first time. He is very shy but when we started working together, we started sharing tips and contributing to each other’s performance. The unit is all new to me. I took little time but I trust Aziz Uncle and Ahmed implicitly. I know the end product will be good,” she says.
