Kamal Hassan and Asin have at last made it to Hollywood. Walt Disney is going to produce a film titled “19 steps” and the two Kollywood stars will play the lead. The total film is scripted and based on the Indian martial combat Kalaripayattu. Asin will play the character of the princess.

Kamal is playing the character role of the Kalaripayattu trainer. Japanese action superstar Tadanobu Asano will play the role of the trainees of Kalaripayattu.

Kamal Hassan has confirmed the news that he and Asin will play the lead in the English film and will soon fly to Hollywood for some basic training. The investment in the film will be around $50 million and the film will be dubbed into quandary versions apart from English. Japanese, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil will be the other versions.

The story for the film has been penned by Vasudeva and the music is being composed by AR Rehman. Bharath Bala will direct this movie.
