Dilli 6 movie which is in the making with Sonam kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead is in its final stages of its making. After a long way, it has reached its final stages with some work still to be touched up. The movie features a star cast of Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan who are enough to just pull the crowds to the theaters. Sonam and Divya Dutta are going to be featured along with Atul Kulkarni and Om Puri in this film.

Well proficient director Rakesh Mehra is directing this movie after his long acclaimed movie Rang De Basanthi. This movie is said to be filled with a lot of emotions and sentiments with love blossoming and seen in between.

Story

Abhishek Bachchan comes to old Delhi with his grandmother (Waheeda Rehman) after he is born and brought up in USA. He comes just for a short vacation, but incidentally this trip becomes a too long saga for him. Since the pin code of Delhi is 110006 the movie title Dilli 6 has been engraved.

After entering into Chandni Chowk, Abhishek’s whole life is transformed and the people of different religions are seen with their varied cultures. Abhi falls for this and then the rest of the story happens.

Meanwhile, Chandni Chowk which is a famous part of old Delhi has become the core of two big movies. One happens to be Dilli 6 and the other is Akshay Kumar’s latest Chandini Chowk to China which happens to be his real life story.

Dilli 6 will hit the silver screens on February 14th 2009.
