‘Kothi Mooka’ is a comedy based movie, with all the top comedians from the Telugu film industry. AVS after getting through a health trauma is back and has directed this movie.

    Story

Ramana (krishnudu) fails in the exams of his degree and remains in the same class for years. Ramana’s father (Jaya Prakash) is an EX MLA, who is corrupted and earns money through different channels of corruption. He had a desire, to marry his son, to a rich politician, who has loads of money in his closet.

Ramana , during his college days, falls in love with his classmate Lavanya (Sharddha) and after some years, he remains in the same college and his Lavanya returns as a lecturer to the college. Ramana opens his love, in front of Lavanya, who is a daughter of a beggar (Avs). But Lavanya thinks that the relationship is impossible and so the reel flows for sometime.

Ramana learns about the background of lavanya, but is determined to marry her at any cost. H has a plan to teach his father a lesson and so hatches a typical plan.

The plan and the lesson form the remaining story, which has to be seen on the big screen.

    Performances

Krishnudu, the fatty hero of Tollywood, has given his best to the character in “ Kothi Mooka”. His performance is impeccable, but it looks as if he has overacted in some scenes.

Shraddha Arya is good looking in the movie, but has done a plain Jane act and this is said to be turn off for the mass crowds.

Other characters like venu, Brhmi, Ali, AVS, Raghubabu, act well in their respective characters, but their roles are minuscule and are overloaded.

The music of the film is decent and is apt for the storyline. But nothing much is available, for the music lovers in this movie “ Kothi Mooka”.

Story is a bit confusing and is jumbled up. The director AVS tried his best to carve a hilarious movie. But his overloading of characters and timing of screen play miss matches and so the movie takes a ridiculous turn in the second half.

Some audiences were even annoyed with the cheap comedy and left the seats.

On the whole, “ Kothi Mooka” will have only few days to breath at the box office and will sink after a fort night.

    Performances

Actor Shivaji need no explanation about his performance in ‘Brahma Lokam to Yamalokam Via Bhulokam’ he has given his full acting skills to the movie.

Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad has also acted well in the movie as Brahma and has lived the character.

Sonia, after a long time, appeared on silver screen. She has given a decent performance. But her isolation from glam roles has disappointed the mass crowds, who are eager to see what the female lead shows to them.

The rest of the star cast has performed well and the movie is filled with a lot of experienced artists.

MM Srilekha Music was apt to the storyline line of Brahma Lokam to Yamalokam Via Bhulokam.

Direction by Nageshwar rao was good , but certain technical snags in the screenplay will fetch some remarks for the director as well.

On the whole, the movie is a comedy entertainer, with some well carved narration. It is wholesome family entertainer and will be living a decent life at the box office.

Actor Jayam Ravi has done superb acting in this movie ‘Thillalangadi”. The movie will remain as a highlight in the career of Ravi, as it will be a hit of this year.

Actor Shaam repeats his slightly negative character in the Tamil version as well. Shaam was also seen in the Telugu version and now the same is seen in the Tamil version. But he gets into the character of a special police officer and will be a highlight in the movie.

Tamannah’s character in ‘Thillalangadi” needs her to play a glam doll role in the film, as well as she needs to display her acting skills. Tamannah had one her character very well and her male fans will have a delight to see her.

The rest of the star cast like Prabhu, Suhasini, and Vadivelu play apt to their characters.

Music element of the film is composed by Yuvan Shanker Raja in association with music director Thaman. The music element will be a highlight in ‘Thillalangadi”.

Direction by M. Raja is excellent as this movie requires more screen play and apt direction intellects. Raja has made the movie into a perfect entertainer, which will appeal to the mass and the class crowds.

‘Bheemili-Kabaddi Jattu’ is a movie, which is based on a sports backdrop. This movie deals with a sweet love story which happens in between a young girl and a kabaddi game player.

    Story

Suri (Nani) looses his parents in his childhood and so he resides in the house of his landlord and grows up there. Suri is a kabaddi player in the childhood, but after he looses his parents, he says a goodbye to the game and becomes busy in working for the landlord.

Suri has a group of friends, who have diverse backgrounds, but are good kabaddi players. Suri has his friends practice the game and are labeled as Bheemili kabaddi jattu. The team is criticized, for oozing crucial matches against other villages during big tournaments.

Bheemili team witnesses a new entrant into the team and is also backed by a kabaddi coach. Then the team rises to a new level and improvises in playing the kabaddi game. Will the Bheemili kabaddi jattu win the trophy and if incase, how forms the rest of the story. The climax is surprising and hard to digest.

    Performances

Actor Nani has given his 100% to his film role and looks apt for the character of suri. The movie has a village backdrop and the dialect and Nani carries his character with easiness.

Saranya Mohan is has hardly any dialogues in the movie and has nothing to show. Ironically speaking, saranya has n shapes and sizes to tempt the males and is and will always be like a scare crow in her films.

The rest of the stars cast, mostly new faces have done well, in playing their characters.

The music by Selva ganesh is average and perhaps, it can tagged as a below average music score.

The director Tatineni Satya has done a blunder in the Telugu remake of the Tamil film. There is no rule to exactly copy the subject as it is like in tamil. If it is done, then there is no use of the director as well. But who will explain it to Satya, as he has depicted the Tamil film totally as it is into Telugu.  The Telugu audiences will kick out this film from its roots within one week and this is for sure.

On the whole, let’s convey our best wishes to Nani and Saranya for their next project, as this movie has hardly anything to offer to their film careers.
