    ‘Madrasapattinam’ is a much hyped movie of actor Arya and is based on a love story, which took place before independence. This movie’s content is equivalent to that of a Hollywood film and will be appealing to those audiences, who have a artistic taste.

    Story

    ‘Madrasapattinam’ begins with a gloomy frame, with a funeral taking place, in the London city. The death ceremony is for a person named William Space, who has an old lady as his wife. The wife of William Space has a blot clot, camouflaged in her brain and that becomes intense during the funeral, thus making the old lady motionless and senseless. On a doctor consultation, they give 50/50 chances for the lady to survive after an intense surgery to her brain. But the lady gains her confidence and in sheer determination, leaves for India, in order to fulfill her last desire.

    The lady enters the city of Chennai, where she memorizes all her past and the reel flows to the year 1945. She is none other than the female lead Amy Wilkinson. At the age of 18, she enters Madras, where the regime of the British is in full swing. She is a daughter of Governor General and meets a dhobi Ilamparidhi-Paridhi (Arya), who is also a professional wrestler. Paridhi belongs to washer men community and washes clothes of the British men, who are ruling the nation. Amy has a golf ground, which is in the place allotted for the dhobi community. Incidentally, she meets Paridhi (Arya) and she falls in love with him. Paridhi is a brave man and never bows to the death and goes according to his mind.

    Soon, Paridhi and Amy fall in love, but then the British ruled India, is freed from the pangs of slavery. Indians are given the independence and the Britishers choose to leave the sub continent. For every Indian populace, independence is like a boon of god. But for Amy and Paridhi it is a curse, as they will get separated. Soon, like in every film story, Robert Ellis (Alexx) enters the lives of Paridhi and Amy. He is behind them and wants to prove that a britsiher is in love with a unchaste Dhobi.

    The governor general learns about this and orders his men to kill Paridhi. He then takes Amy to London. But due to immense love Amy escapes the pangs of her father and reaches Madras in search of Paridhi.

    What happens next is a suspense, which has to be seen on the big screen.

    Performances

    Arya’s acting is excellent as he gets into the skin of Paridhi, who is a dhobi cum wrestler. After his previous “ Naan Kadavul” superb performance, this actor is back with another impeccable acting work. He perfectly fits into the role and the director has squeezed the most from his acting skills.

    British actress Amy Jackson is looks like an angel in the movie. She is having immense charm and has given her best to her character and her film.

    Cochin Hanifa has given his best to his role of Nambi. His comedy in the movie will impress every section of the audiences.

    Nasser and Alexx have given their 100% for the film.

    The background score and the music of ‘Madrasapattinam’ is composed by GV Prakash Kumar and he has given an average skill of his, for this film.

    Director Vijay is praise worthy, as his intellectual thinking for not casing any tamilain as Britisher has paid off. The movie looks realistic in every bit and the whole credit goes to Vijay. But the movie is unnecessarily dragged in the second off and this may make the movie buffers disappointed.

    On the whole, the movie is an entertainer of this season and can be watched once.

    Creative director SS Rajamouli has come up with a sweet story this time, which is filled with comedy and is entertaining to watch. This movie is a fast aced movie and will appeal to all sections of audiences.

    Story

    Ramu (Sunil) is a city guy, struggling with the modern age time and the populace.  One fine day, he gets a letter from a village in Rayalseema, stating that he owns a land and is invited to come and own it. Ramu gets into a happy mood and is interested in selling of his land and make a big living in the city. With the dream to do so, he takes on the journey to the village, located in Rayalseema.

    Incidentally, Ramu meets Aparna(Saloni) who is a beauty with a brain. Ramu gets on with Aparna well and finally lands up at her home. Aparna’s father Ramaneedu (Naganeedu) is a factionist by profession. But her has a golden heart and is known for his hospitality in treating his guest. Ramaneedu has an aim to take the revenge of his brother. He is in a look out for a young fellow, who is the son of the person, who killed his brother.

    After a search, Ramu happens to be the person, who is the son of the same person, who killed Ramaneedu’s brother.

    Then the rest of the story is a bit of tale and is entertaining.

    Performances

    Sunil has performed well and his acting is impeccable and so are his dancing skills. On seeing the movie ‘Maryada Ramanna’, Sunil is the person, who is apt for the character of the lead and this is the opinion of most of the audiences, who walked out of the theatres.

    Saloni must be grateful to Rajamouli, as she was shows as a stunner in every scene of ‘Maryada Ramanna’ and the credit goes to Rajamouli. The actress has the right kind of sex appeal and is apt for the character of Aparna.

    Nagineedu has performed well in the movie and so was supreeth and Venugopal.

    Ravi Teja’s voice is also heard in the movie and that too it is for a Cycle.

    The songs of ‘Maryada Ramanna’ by Keeravani are apt for the script and out of six, there were good to hum outside.

    Coming to the direction, ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is aimed for the entertainment of the Telugu film audiences. SS Rajamouli came up with a surprising but sensible script and needs no elaboration about his direction in the movie.

    The movie is a good one in this season and can be watched once.

    ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is an upcoming Telugu film which will feature Telugu comedian turned actor Sunil in the lead. ‘Maryada Ramanna’ concept is penned from the 1967 old Telugu film which had Telugu comedian and actor Padmanabham as a hero. Now, the movie is being made with actor Sunil and Saloni in the lead. MM Keeravani has composed the music for this film and SS Rajamouli has directed this movie. Prasad devineni and Shobha yaarlagadda is the producer of this film.

    ‘Maryada Ramanna’ songs

    Maryada Ramanna songs were released on June 4th, 2010 (Sunday) in Hyderabad and the songs are really worthy to listen. Actors Prabhas, junior NTR, Ravi Teja, director VV Vinayak and actress Saloni were present on this occasion. Indian’s famous male singer SP Bala Subramanyam, who made his debut as a singer with the previous 1967 release Maryada Ramanna’ has also lent his voice for this Maryada Ramanna 2010.

    ‘Maryada Ramanna’ story

    ‘Maryada Ramanna’ 2010 story is a bit action based with lots of hilarious and naturalistic comedy in the pipeline. ‘Maryada Ramanna’ opens with a rayalseema backdrop and a small introduction of a big fight in between two factionists. Hero’s father and villain’s brother fight for the prominence and in this fight, Villains brother gets killed by hero’s father. Then after many years and some reel flow, hero returns to the same rayalseema village, where the flashbacks fight in-between his father and villain’s brother happened.

    Meanwhile, villain is in search of the progeny of his rival who killed his brother. In the meantime, hero reaches the village and incidentally resides in the house of the villain. The villain has a habit of treating his guests with utmost hospitality. He learns later on after three months that the same person, who is residing in his house, is the man who he is searching for. The three months period is scrapped from the 1967 film “Maryada Ramanna. The villain took oath that until the hero resides in his house, he is safe, but when he steps out, he will get killed by him.

    What happens next is suspense?

    Note- Sunil will not be a hero in this film. But his character will add life to the film.
