KING is a routine story which is a bit predictable and outdated. But hold on! This movie has something special to offer and though it an old wine in a new bottle, the movie’s screenplay and entertaining elements add zing to the movie’s status and so it can be tagged with a average hit tag to its caliber.
Story

KING is a movie which as expected opens up with a lavish and royal family which is lead by KING (Nagarjuna). This protagonist is a leader of the family in all aspects as he has the valor to protect, wits to handle delicate situations and the peppiness to be a hero in him. But, unfortunately he has three brother -in -laws who are after his property and so want to kill him in order to inherit the whole property. The three brother- in -laws are the characters played by three well known on screen negative characters Sayaji shinde, Jayaprakash reddy and Krishna Bhagwan.

Due to a conspiracy KING is unfortunately shot dead (according from the audience point of view) and his family is not aware of the deadly plot.

Then the camera rolls and we are brought back to Hyderabad. a local gunda whose name is Boddu Sreenu( Nagarjuna) is brought on to the frame., though he is a little bit violent, he has a golden heart in him and so does good to everyone who clasp him for need. And then his lady love in the name of Shravani (Trisha) enters on the screen. She is the love of Boddu Sreenu and he is in deep love with her.

Boddu Sreenu has a enemy in his Gunda Profession and that is Gyaneshwar (Srihari). The two initially involve in a conflict, but later on come to n understanding that they will not involve in each others professional businesses. On learning that Shravani is the only sister to Gyaneshwar, Boddu Sreenu hatches a plan to lure Gyaneshwar and make him arrange the marriage of his sister with Sreenu. Boddu Sreenu is poses as a Software Engineer named Sharath and then the scene seems to end up there.

In the meantime, the past royal family which is in search of KING the heir of the royal family figures out Boddu Sreenu and assume him as a KING. The whole master plan is hatched by the killer of KING, but ho falls into whose trap is the real suspense. Where is KING? Who is the killer? What happens to Boddu Sreenu and Shravani are all the climax elements which must be watched on screen.
Performances

KING Nagarjuna needs no explanation regarding his acting, dancing and the usual charismatic approach which will lure the women folks. Nagarjuna’s dressing in the first half is lavish, but his mass get up in the second half of the film is superb.

Trisha does her bitsy part well and acts and dances well in the film. Her sweet beauty element in this film is a highlight.

Mamta Mohan Das will be a highlight in this film as her sex appeal and her smoking hot appearance makes every male a slave to her beauty.

The comedy in the film is lead by Brahamanadham and Venu Madhav. They churn out some laughs amongst the audiences. Adding to them, the usual villain dialogues uttered by Krishna Bhagwan, Jayaprakash, and Sayaji Shinde bring out some comedy.

The song with 8 heroines is a worth to watch and is a sure to invest song.

Music by Devi Sri Prasad is also promising in line with the story of the KING.

The director Srinu Vaitla has come up with a movie which has all ingredients to satisfy all sections of the audiences. Romance, love, dance, fights, sentiments, comedy and much more are there to be seen ands entertained. The Chandramukhi concept which was copied by many directors exists in a novel and entertaining way in this movie.

On the whole, the KING will touch the 50 day mark easily without any glitches. More than that depends on some extra factors.
