Shriya reconciled what had happened and disclosed it in an interview and said that she was greeting all her fans who liked to get a touch of her. But this person whom she claims to be a ill mannered rascal shake her hand in a not so usual way and when shriya tried to pull off her hands  he immediately caught hold of her waist ,boobs and squeezed it terribly. This squeeze of him mad Shriya so irritated that she immediately slapped the fellow and was later took into custody by the police. 

Shriya also discloses that this is not the first time she faced such an incident. She even remembered that in her initial stages of her career, a junior artist tried to molest her, by catching her private parts, but later on he was arrested and jailed. 

From that day, she is scared going to crowded places. But visits to temple cannot be evaded as she is a spiritual person. 

Shriya also mentioned a few names like Namitha, Khushboo who were also physically assaulted and also said that when these ladies went for some inauguration functions, which is usually crowded some people from the crowds inspite of the security try and reach their private parts or succeed in pinching them on their hips.
