Actress Padmapriya who is now into the bollywood film industry has started her film acting innings through Malayalam and then Tamil. The dusky beauty was introduced by director Cheran in the movie “Thavamai Thavamirundhu”.Now she is doing the movie titled Pokeesham which has Cheran in the lead. The movie offers Padmapriya the role of a Muslim girl falling fro Cheran who is a Hindu girl. She will play the character of Nadira who is a student of BA literature. The movie is filled with intensity of roles and Padmapriya gets a bit to rove herself.
In a recent interview she insisted that she will do only those movies which have some scope for exposing her acting skills. She added that she doesn’t like to mimic Nayan and Trisha professionally as she feels that they focus on quantity and fee rather than quality of the character.
