 ‘Satyam’ which is a much awaited and much hyped movie of Vishal has sunk to the bottom on the first day itself. The usual story of the cop chasing the evil seems to be a past funda for a hit movie.
Satyam’ disappoints in many ways as the story, screenplay, direction fail to live up to the expectations. The only saving factor in the film is the romantic onscreen chemistry between Nayantara and Vishal. It is reported that the Vishal was disappointed by the poor turnout in the A and B centers in Chennai and was enquiring about the films future with his close pals. ‘Kuselan’ magic failed nearly 15 days ago. Inspite of a big star like Rajinikanth being featured, ‘Kuselan’ sank to the bottom and now it is also said on the first day’s response that ‘Satyam’ will also meet the same end. Is the star magic failing to impress the audience, who are in thirst for a good movie? |
