 Director Shanker dreamt about
a movie in the year 2000, with science and fiction as its basic ingredients
The movie was kept under wraps, for the right time to develop, to make
this movie possible. At that time, Shanker dreamt to cast Kamal Hassan
and Preity Zinta in the lead of his dream project. But since years have passed, the movie took almost 6 years to become a reality. In the year 2008, the movie started and after narrating the script to many stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Hassan and Vijay, Super star Rajnikanth signed the project. Since Aishwarya Bachchan rejected ANNIYAN of Shanker for personnel reason, she readily signed the project in 2008, for Rs 6 cr as her remuneration. Now, after almost 2 and half years of hard work, Shanker has come up with his dream project. The movie is titled as “Endhiran” in Tamil and Robot in Hindi. The movie will be dubbed into Telugu as “Yantram”. The cost of the budget is almost Rs 200 cr and Shanker is sure to release his dream project by September or November this year. Hope, his multi cr project becomes a blockbuster and earns back its investments, along with profits. |
