Kamal Hassan is a well known versatile actor in the south. Though he is not so famous like Rajnikanth in abroad countries, but his stature is the same as Rajni in India.
His magnum Opus DASAVATARAM has fetched him a news title before its release. Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Shri Karunanidhi has engraved a title of Ulagamaha Kalaignani to Kamal and has praised him an out in a press conference at his home after the music release of DASAVATARAM.
Kamal worked for this movie for almost 2 years and has been considering the script from the past 5 years. He has been injured 26 times during the shooting of DASAVATRAM and was also severely injured last year. But finally he has completed his film and is ready for its release on May 17th
